Here's a slideshow of some of my press, PR (public relations) and corporate editorial Photographs.
Having been a staff press photographer for many years, since setting up my freelance photography business in 1996 I have been doing lots of PR and corporate editorial photography. I feel that my experience in the newspaper industry as taught me how to take photographs that picture editors really want to publish. I am able to use this experience when I am shooting for an annual report or in-house business-to-business magazine. I regularly have to take photographs to fit specific shapes or to leave specific areas blank to allow for coverlines etc.
I love photographing people (it's agood job really, as I have based my career on it!) and the mark of a good photographer is someone who can get a visually interesting picture out of a mundane subject. I enjoy interacting with people and it never ceases to amaze me what I can get people to do when I have a camera in my hand!
