Here are a series of care home videos I have been filming. It all started by being booked to produce a resident’s testimonial video of a care home in Leicestershire. I shot the video in two sessions: In the first session, I filmed the interviews with the residents. Some of these were quite challenging as some of the residents had dementia, so they had limited capabilities for following instructions. I then edited the interviews to the length of video required and re-visited the care home to film the cutaways which add so much colour to the video (as well as hiding the edit points!). The Managing director of the group of care homes liked the video so much that he has now commissioned me to produce similar videos of ALL the care homes in the group! In fact his exact words to me were: “Wow! Brilliant, stunning, jaw droppingly fantastic video!” Here are the videos I have done for them so far. As this is still a work in progress, more videos will be added here as and when they are signed off. The first film is a compilation of some of the best bits from all the care home videos across the group.
Douglas Court (Derby) Care Home video.
Kiwi House (Derby) care home video
Bowood Court & Mews Care Homes in Redditch.
Moat House (Burbage, Hinckley) Care Home Video.
The Old Vicarage (Clay Cross, near Chesterfield, Derbyshire) care home video.
The Knowles Residential Care Home, Tile Hill, Coventry.
A recuritment video to encourage care assistants to apply for jobs with Adept Care Homes.
I enjoy filming these care home videos as I have a lot of experience of working with vulnerable people and the feedback I have had is that the residents really enjoyed the whole filming process.
